The Blackspire Snaggletooth SRAM Direct Mount Chainring is a highly efficient narrow/wide chainring, which grips the chain perfectly, prevent chain drops and will increase confidence you have in your bike's drivetrain. The ovalized chainring grants the benefit of making it easier to pedal when your leg is at its maximum power output and creates a smoother power balance when your legs are at the weakest point in their rotation.

Linear Power Output, Superior Traction

The reality is that the power going to your rear wheel will be linear, making traction consistent, in turn making it less likely to lose power or spin your wheel on hard climbs by avoiding the dead spot in your pedal rotation.

Direct Mount Design

Since your front derailleur and chainguide are no longer needed, taking them off your bike will deliver weight savings. Blackspire has taken this a step further by making the new Snaggletooth chainring compatible with the SRAM Direct Mount system, eliminating the need to use a chainring spider; once again, shaving even more weight.
