The Gravity All-Rounder

Undisputedly the favorite among Schwalbe Downhill and Enduro athletes. Perfect all-round characteristics for almost all tracks and conditions. The sophisticated intermediate profile is combined with the Addix Soft compound and the SuperGravity casing construction and pushes the limits into unexpected dimensions. Strong shoulder studs and the aggressive, open tread design provide maximum braking traction and cornering grip even in extremely muddy terrain.

Gravity version: Puncture-proof (with Apex) with extreme lateral stability for a dynamic ride.

Technologies

ADDIX SOFT

This compound is suited for Enduro and Downhill as well as for challenging all mountain and trail riding. It also impresses when used in combination with other Addix tyres – more speed: Soft on the front, Speedgrip on the rear. Or more damping: Ultra Soft on the front, Soft on the rear. It’s significantly more durable than the previous TrailStar compound. Tip: Addix Soft is also ideal for e-MTBs. Here it really plays to its distinctive strengths of great damping and grip and, due to the optimised low-temperature properties, it does this all year round!

SUPER GRAVITY

The principle is a familiar one from motorbike tires. Schwalbe has taken the best features and developed them further for the MTB. In the past Schwalbe uses for classic downhill tire constructions six layers under the cap.

This adds unnecessary weight and unfortunately also makes the cap rigid and hard. For Super Gravity the sidewalls are made up of four layers of carcass material, but there are only two layers underneath the cap. This is achieved with an overlap on the sidewalls.

Additionally the whole tire (not just the sidewalls) is encased in SnakeSkin puncture protection. It weighs little - and it helps a lot. In fact, it stabilizes and protects while remaining extremely flexible. At the same time it is ideal for the Tubeless Ready application. Hence this tire offers downhill ruggedness at enduro weight!

TUBELESS EASY

Featuring the monofile SnakeSkin fabric on the side wall it makes the tubeless conversion for the MTB extremely easy and safe. It also provides the best cut protection on the side wall. For this reason, Tubeless Easy with SnakeSkin comes as standard with Schwalbe's high-end MTB tyres in their EVOLUTION Line.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting.
