The aggressor has been designed for very fast, modern mountain bike trails. Advanced lug design gives extra grip edges, reinforced side lugs provide increased stability in fast turns. An all-round trail tire that caters for everything from light trails to tricky enduro trails.

Maxxis strongly advises against the use of ammonia-containing sealant. Ammonia has been shown to attack the carcass and can weaken it up to 30% after just a few months, depending on the amount used.

For the Dual Compound, two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned individually according to the desired properties of Maxxis tires. 

EXO Protection

This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various Maxxis MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good. 

Wide Trail (WT):

This design optimizes the profile layout and tire shape on today's wider wheel rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrower rims and get on square wheels too angular shape and thus a not exactly optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work perfectly on all rims with an internal dimension of 30 - 40 mm. Applies to tires with a width from 2.4 ". 

Tubeless Ready

Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no hose, the breakdown risk also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for installation with sealant than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of the Maxxis TR tire is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. As a result, tubeless fitting on all rims with standard dimensions is already successful on initial inflation and with little fluid.
