Gel 160 is unlike other standard gels. This is no simple water/carbs mix. Instead, Gel 160 uses unique hydrogel technology, a biopolymer matrix with a fructose and glucose mix (ratio of 0.8:1). The result is a high-performance gel that enables you to take in up to 100g of carbohydrates per hour.

Energy quickly

Gel 160 can get to and bypass the stomach efficiently, moving rapidly to the intestines where it gets absorbed, faster, into the body. This also helps in reducing the risk of gastrointestinal distress during activation.

Natural performance

Gel 160 also uses all-natural ingredients, with no added colourants, preservatives, or flavourings, and gives you 40g of carbohydrates per serving. The gel is fast-acting and can be used before, during and/or after your most intense activities.

Energy Consumption

Studies have shown that the body can use about 60g of ingested carbohydrates per hour in the form of glucose or maltodextrin (glucose polymer). Meanwhile, the Gel 160 uses a 0.8:1 combination of fructose and glucose/maltodextrin which allows the uptake of 100g per hour.
